A Celebration for Sr. M. Caroline  During the fifty years that she worked in the laundry, Sr M Caroline has given herself fully to God and her sisters. Many postulants who have been assigned to duties in the laundry have been edified by her great love of our Blessed Mother as well as her gentle firmness on the basics of religious life. We celebrated her selfless dedication with skits performed by the Juniorate and Novitiate.

Sr M Caroline smiles but with eyes closed—too unassumming for all this attention.

We remember...
If I failed to pause in front of Our Blessed Mother on the way out of Chapel, Sister would gently remind me, “Talk to your Mother.”

Sister would take care of the vigil lights at the Grotto and would say to me, “Your Mother says you haven't come out to see Her lately.”

Icecream cones were the treat for the special occasion.  Enjoyed here by Sr Gianna Marie (lft) and Sr Jane Marie (rt).
Would you like some “ham” with that icecream? Sr Mary Vianney and Jenny enjoy their treat.

(Left) Some of the young sisters put together a skit and rewrote an old country song to fit Sr M Caroline.  Sr Lethia Marie helped set the scene by blowing bubbles while hiding in the laundry basket.
The Novitiate put on a show called The Top Seven Things We Love About Sr M Caroline and the Laundry. Sr M Anna Joseph acts as MC while Sr M Madeleine works up the crowd.
One of the top seven things we love—Sr M Caroline's paintings. Here one is “auctioned off” by Rosa.  The price started at 50 talents of gold of Ophir.

A Cheer for Sr M Caroline!  Jenny and Sr Maria Gemma lead the crowd.  You never know when old talents are going to come in handy...
The number one thing we love about Sr M Caroline is her devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary.  Sr M Lissetta plays while everyone sings “Stainless the Maiden who He chose for Mother....”

The Novitiate gathers around Sr M Caroline for a hug.  As she leaves the laundry, Sister's new apostolate is one of full time prayer—giving glory to God and interceeding for the needs of the Church and the world.
Thank you dear Blessed Mother for the good work you have accomplished through your devoted daughter Sr M Caroline.
