First Profession 2008: On August 10th, Sister M Veronica of Saint Joseph and Sister M Lissetta of Saint Joseph came one step closer to dedicating their lives completely to Christ for all their lives. They professed their first vows of Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience for three years, committing themselves to learn more deeply the about the grace of religious life.

As in the sacrament of matrimony, it is customary that the Sisters who are professing vows for the first time be escorted down the isle by a member, or members, of their family who will give them away for the service of the Church. |

We were honored to have many priests concelebrate. Sister M Veronica poses with the vocation director from the diocese of Gary, Indiana, Father Kevin Hubert. Sister M Veronica is a daughter of this northern Indiana diocese. |
