Sister Rose reflects on Perpetual Adoration:
Perpetual Adoration helps us in adversity and it’s an opportunity to receive God’s mercy every time we’re in His presence. When I go to adoration, I start with my intentions. And it’s hard to quit because they just keep coming! What I’ve been doing recently is bringing all of the intentions of my two sisters because they keep track of petitions for other people. My older sister’s been keeping a book for years; people will ask her to pray for so and so, so she’ll write down their intentions. My younger sister, she’s been doing the same thing for quite some time now too. So what I do is bring these intentions to Our Lord. And adoration is our opportunity to love Him, to be silent there- just with Him.
